Kidderminster is a growing industrial town situated in the north of the county of Hereford and Worcester.

It stands between the River Stour and the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal, and is part of the picturesque Wyre Forest District.
Kidderminster lies just off the M5 and M42, and is conveniently close to the towns of Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Worcester.

It also has close links to Husum in Germany, its twin town. Husum is a North Sea fishing port close to Germany's Danish border and the two towns first made contact in 1955, with the Twinning Charter eventually signed in 1976/77.

The Kidderminster market takes place on Thursday and Saturday mornings.

Weekly carpet auctions are also common events in the town famous for its quality woven carpets and home to the famed Brintons Carpet Factory.

The towns shopping centre features many well know High Street names and a variety of events can be found throughout the year at Brintons Park and The Glades Arena.
